The civil service pension modellers allow you to estimate your projected pension benefits at retirement, based on the details entered by you.
These modellers may be used by:
- Established Civil Servants
- Non-Established State Employees, and
- Prison Officers
who are members of a pre-existing civil service pension scheme.
If you are a member of the Single Public Service pension scheme ("Single Scheme") you can find further information on the Single Scheme website.
At the time of retirement, or should you require information for official purposes, such as Family Law purposes, you should contact your pension administrator and/or HR section who will arrange to verify your pensionable service, salary details and so on, and provide you with information on your pension entitlements.
The pension modellers will also you to project various scenarios. For example:
- you may enter a salary that reflects your anticipated career progression or your projected progress on a pay scale
- you can select your percentage work pattern from now to retirement date to take account of a period of worksharing
- you may compare the impact of different retirement ages on your pension benefits.

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the pension modellers, however, in the event of any error or omission in this estimate, the legislation, policies and terms applicable to your pension scheme will govern any entitlement to pension scheme benefits.
